Hawk Meet & Greet is a series of interviews that immerse you into the dynamic daily lives of Hawk employees. Each month, discover a new person through a unique and immersive testimony.
Can you introduce yourself quickly?
Benjamin, 36 years old, I joined Hawk one year ago.
My passion for interactivity and creation first led me to study Video games and animation.
After my studies, I started in the Web, and specialised in interactive video and in institutional and advertising motion design. I then joined the Digital advertising industry eight years ago.
Besides that, I’m a father of two little boys, which ensures me a very dynamic life, at the office as much as at home!
What is your position and your specific role in the company?
My role is to supervise the creative team, in cooperation with our Head of Design. I am sort of doing the coordination between the commercial team and the creative team. As the pace of design and production is rather intense, my main task is to make sure that all incoming briefs can be produced in time and, above all, that the quality is maintained. To do this, I am lucky to oversee a team of four creative designers who are always eager to push the proposals as far as possible!
What struck you the most when you joined the adventure?
I’m a discreet person, so it was really nice to feel at home right away!
I think that what impressed me the most when I arrived was the care and support between all the teams.
Everyone has the same desire to do well and the motivation to make the company shine.
How do you organise your work days and what are your daily challenges?
Days rarely unfold as they were planned in the morning. They are generally made up of briefs, discussions with the sales team, followed by production with a lot of campaign execution.
According to you, what is your greatest success at Hawk?
What makes me very proud is that everyone is aware of the qualitative work we do at the Studio, and of its impressive evolution during the past year. We manage to deliver ten times more briefs than last year at the same period, while maintaining a high quality of execution. I think the fact that the team is going to keep growing is a great proof of confidence and recognition towards the creative team.
What 3 adjectives would your team use to describe you?
Available, flexible, efficient.
Last but not least, what would you like to say to potential future colleagues?
Joining Hawk is the assurance of finding professional fulfilment and not getting up in the morning for nothing!
